Requirements

  • Experience managing and growing distributor and partner relationships in a sales/channel environment
  • Ability to drive revenue through business planning, pipeline management, enablement, sales coaching, marketing, and forecasting
  • Skills in orchestrating company resources (engineering, marketing, sales, distribution, operations) to support partner activities
  • Capability to act as a trusted advisor at all partner levels, from sales to CxO, providing strategic advice and proactive support

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with partners as a trusted advisor and main point of contact, fostering strong ties with key players and decision-makers to increase Extreme brand awareness and mindshare
  • Align channel strategy with regional sales goals and sales team to increase revenue in assigned territory
  • Create, manage, and execute channel strategy, including business planning with clear actions for partners and distributors; maintain regular cadence via hotdesking, enablement meetings, QBRs, and Annual Reviews
  • Acquire partners by working with regional teams and distributors to identify channel coverage gaps and lead onboarding processes supported by Extreme functional teams and local distribution
  • Evangelize Extreme's proposition by aligning partners with strategy and solutions; host regular updates, conference calls, events, activities for product/program reviews, trainings, marketing, and addressing concerns with sales and technical resources
  • Coordinate and track all major channel activities
  • Maximize utilization of marketing funds for best ROI on partner lead activities by orchestrating Extreme and partner resources; execute marketing plans with regional marketing manager to promote Extreme Networks and regional goals
  • Conduct regular pipeline management, forecast calls, and program compliance reviews
  • Close sales together with the sales team
