Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 4 years of experience as a corporate or commercial paralegal in an AmLaw 200 law firm or mature in-house legal department, demonstrating the ability to take full ownership of complex projects and make independent decisions with strong judgment and prioritization skills. They should also exhibit exceptional organization, a detail-oriented approach, and comfort with confidentiality and discretion, along with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The Mid-Level Corporate Paralegal will prepare, review, and manage legal documents such as NDAs, vendor agreements, and partnership agreements, organize and maintain corporate records, ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements, and assist in managing corporate and financial licensing/regulatory filings. They will also gather and organize documents for transaction and partnership diligence, set up and manage data rooms, assist with updates to employee-facing legal materials, prepare signature packets, and coordinate legalization processes. Furthermore, they will issue-spot bottlenecks in legal workflows, recommend solutions, implement scalable processes, triage and manage legal requests, manage vendor performance, gather documentation for audits and regulatory filings, and support the compliance team with rollout of compliance policies.
