Meaningful experience in a fast-paced, high-growth start-up environment
Ability to translate complex topics into clear and actionable advice for non-legal stakeholders
Ability to build relationships and consensus with colleagues amid competing views and priorities
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (ability to register as NY in-house counsel required)
Preference for candidates based in the New York metro area (will consider exceptional candidates nationwide)

Responsibilities

Lead corporate transactions, including equity or debt financings, M&A, etc
Maintain and update Management Services / Medical Practice agreements and relationships
Handle board governance, approvals, and record keeping
Support Finance and Accounting teams on legal aspects of audit and tax matters
Manage Intellectual Property and Corporate Insurance
Partner closely with Procurement and Legal Operations to build out corporate and contracting systems and processes
Serve as the lead attorney within the Corporate function, reporting to the Associate General Counsel, and act as a key strategic partner to Finance, Payer, and Operations teams
