Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • 2 years of experience as a Manufacturing Operations trainer or supervisor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Effective written/oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Willing to work on the production floor with training line 80% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing training for all colleagues within Warehouse and Meat Production operations, including all shifts and all temperature zones
  • Retrain associates identified as not meeting performance standards, reinforcing essential skills to improve safety, competence, and productivity
  • Oversee training including Onboarding and Orientation, UMS, and Training on the Production Floor
  • Supervise the day-to-day administration of policies and practices at assigned location
  • Recommend program changes or enhancements to meet human resource requirements
  • Assist in People Pillar activities and ensure compliance
  • Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
  • Represent company at personnel-related hearings and investigations
  • Help ensure HR Department is prepared for HR Audit
  • Develop new training methods to deliver training to all associates within the facility
  • Identify areas to improve processes and reduce errors and develop training to support those objectives
  • Make employment decisions based on learning and development or consistent performance
  • Deliver training on warehouse and Meat Production including receiving, put away, shipping and packing; safety; business systems, etc
