The Operations Engineer will provide Level 2 technical support for escalated incidents, document incident details, and collaborate with the team to resolve application, infrastructure, security, or performance issues. Responsibilities include deploying minor software patches, bug fixes, and enhancements, managing applications on cloud platforms, and identifying automation opportunities using tools like Puppet or Ansible. The role involves setting up and maintaining system alerts, implementing logging solutions, utilizing monitoring tools for application health analysis, and assisting with routine maintenance and performance troubleshooting. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to creating documentation, training L1/L2 teammates, and analyzing data for trend analysis and reporting on system performance.
