The ideal candidate possesses over 5 years of experience as a Client Director or equivalent, with a proven track record of selling multi-million dollar solutions and managing executive-level relationships. Previous sales experience in IT Service Management, HR, Security Operations, Customer Service, and IT Operations Management within software or IT sales organizations is required. Strong business acumen, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to build relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and influence large purchase decisions are essential.
This role involves developing and executing a plan to accelerate and scale the growth of the Microsoft Azure business, focusing on enterprise customers in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industries. Responsibilities include meeting sales quotas, forecasting pipeline, building relationships with customers, Microsoft, and ServiceNow field sellers, and leading virtual teams. The executive will create a Microsoft Azure sales plan, build multi-tiered customer relationships, develop ServiceNow solutions based on customer outcomes, manage relationships between ServiceNow, Microsoft, and customers, and present the value of the ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure partnership. They will also negotiate complex contracts, grow the ServiceNow business on Microsoft Azure, build mindshare within Microsoft field sales, develop roadmaps, ensure customer value delivery, and tackle strategic projects related to hyperscaler adoption. Additionally, the role requires weekly pipeline reporting, progress updates, customer reference management, deal registration, and collaboration with marketing for events and customer engagement.
