Requirements

The Development Manager should possess experience leading development teams, preferably in a software engineering environment, and demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Experience with agile development methodologies, modern technologies, tools, and frameworks, particularly those used on Microsoft Azure platforms and Google Cloud, is desired. A background in building enterprise business components for the consumer and mortgage lending markets is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

As a Development Manager, the individual will lead a global cross-functional engineering team to deliver the Dara product(s), advance the company’s culture and practices, and advise senior management on strategic decisions. They will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment, managing performance, and ensuring the team adheres to coding best practices, unit testing standards, and documentation guidelines. The role involves holding the team accountable for deadlines and commitments, and proactively addressing challenges and ensuring the team’s success.
