Position Overview

This role is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products within a designated region, focusing on building relationships with healthcare professionals, driving product adoption, and achieving sales targets.


Responsibilities

Daily Activities:

  • Sales Calls: Ensure 4.5 days of normal sales calls per week.
  • Call Volume: Achieve a minimum of 12 face-to-face effective calls per day.
  • Customer Coverage: Maintain correct coverage and frequency for A and B level clients.

VIP Engagement:

  • Monthly Visits: Conduct at least one visit per month to key hospital stakeholders (e.g., hospital presidents, pharmacy directors, pharmacoeconomics committee members, key opinion leaders) within the assigned territory to gain maximum support.

Product Promotion:

  • Product Presentations: Conduct at least one product presentation per week to enhance physician understanding of products.

Performance Management:

  • Planning: Develop monthly plans for the assigned territory based on company targets.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor progress weekly to ensure target achievement.

Territory Management:

  • Hospital Planning: Strategically plan and manage hospitals within the assigned territory.
  • Customer Information: Regularly update departmental information for clients in the territory.
  • Business Development: Expand business within the territory through meticulous cultivation.

Financial Management:

  • Budgeting: Submit expense pre-applications for market activities based on the budget provided by the Regional Manager.
  • Expense Reporting: Submit expenses to the District Manager within 3 weeks of occurrence, after approval.

Product Management:

  • Development Plans: Create monthly product development plans and key product development plans, especially for new products, in alignment with marketing strategies and specific territory conditions.

Product Knowledge:

  • Training: Participate in weekly product knowledge sessions.
  • Assessments: Undergo regular product knowledge tests, which will be used for performance evaluation.

Sales Skills:

  • Application: Effectively utilize learned sales techniques in the field to improve the efficiency of calls.

Working Hours:

  • Field Work: Ensure 8 hours of effective sales calls within the territory daily.
  • Availability: Maintain availability (phone on) between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM for company and client contact. (Company provides communication and transportation subsidies).

Reporting:

  • Report Management: Manage and submit reports as required.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Position Experience: 1+ year of experience in pharmaceutical product promotion.
  • Language Skills: Basic English listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers.
  • Travel: Willingness to undertake business travel as required by the company.
  • Certifications: RDPAC certificate is required.
