Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Workday Consulting implementation experience, including required Workday certification(s)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience leading a virtual team
  • Required characteristics: fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced work environments
  • Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished
  • Possess sales engagement experience estimating and presenting to prospects

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance, advice, and development support to the Consulting management team and team members
  • Assist the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW’s)
  • Act as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management
  • Assist in identifying business needs, staffing projects, and ensuring work/life balance of consultants is monitored and adjusted
  • Oversight responsibility for projects across the practice; oversee and assist Engagement Managers and team members to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies
  • Act as a Data Conversion Lead on Workday implementations, using Advance Loads, Migration Recipes, EIBs, and the Configuration Change Tracker
  • Jump in and support projects with little to no guidance
  • Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work
  • Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications
  • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment
  • Lead and manage a team of consultants to ensure adherence to activities, processes, and procedures in Workday methodology
  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels
  • Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence
  • Build trust-based relationships and identify and foster business development opportunities
  • Perform role of mentor and coach
  • Analyze team skills and provide cross training to maintain ability to staff projects appropriately
  • Advise management team on team members’ level of expertise and availability
  • Establish direct reports’ goals and objectives during the bi-annual review process
  • Direct the collection of performance feedback from customers and engagement/project managers on a quarterly basis or upon project completion for the entire team
  • Direct the collection of all internal contributions for team members, assuring data is received by HR on a quarterly basis
  • Drive bi-annual performance review process for the Consulting team
  • Review estimates for sales opportunities
  • Review SOWs for language and accuracy
  • Attend Orals and prospect meetings
  • Manage utilization to targets
  • Monitor the sales pipeline to ensure accurate capacity planning for the team and assign resources to projects
  • Schedule regular 1:1 meetings with direct and indirect reports
  • Assess team member skills and maintain skills matrix
  • Meet with team members bi-annually to provide performance and client satisfaction feedback
