Candidates should have 2+ years of people management experience, ideally leading analytics, data, or reporting teams, and strong SQL skills with experience working within a modern data stack such as dbt, Hex, and BigQuery; familiarity with Python is a plus. They should also have a track record of owning metric definition frameworks and the reporting infrastructure needed to uphold them, and be deeply invested in information design, including UX of data and tailoring reporting for different leadership levels.
As the Manager, Reporting Analytics, the individual will own and evolve the gold standard of metric definitions at Calendly, ensuring alignment and consistency. They will manage the reporting layer within the data warehouse, build the foundation for scalable analytics, and design and deliver the official reporting suite, including the Corporate Scorecard, Weekly Business Digest, and performance dashboards. Additionally, they will support high-stakes reporting moments such as MBRs and Board materials, develop a semantic layer and reporting framework, champion thoughtful design in reporting experiences, ensure strong UX and technical structure, partner cross-functionally with various teams, and mentor and support a team of analysts.
