Requirements

Candidates should have a proven background in building reporting functionality and web application development, with proficiency in Ruby-on-Rails, big data and warehouse technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift), and BI tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, or Qlik). Leadership experience in managing and inspiring high-performing engineering teams, driving innovation, and fostering a collaborative work culture is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-centric solutions are also required. This role is open to candidates in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.

Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager will oversee the design, development, and delivery of reporting and analytics solutions for the web platform. They will influence engineering leadership, technical strategy, code quality, and performance, while mentoring engineers and contributing to their professional growth. Responsibilities include partnering with Product Managers to drive outcomes, contributing to product roadmaps and OKRs, managing projects against delivery timelines, and ensuring the delivery of quality solutions. The manager will also collaborate with mobile counterparts, conduct code reviews, advocate for engineering best practices, and foster a positive work environment.
