Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, data science, engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in commercial analytics, preferably within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Proficiency in business analytics and business intelligence tools, Excel, SQL, and data visualization best practices is essential, along with experience managing commercial data pipelines and field analytics. Familiarity with CRM configuration, master data management, and incentive compensation analytics, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, are also required.
The Analyst, Data and Business Intelligence will build and manage the commercial data ecosystem, including ETL processes and data validation, to ensure accurate reporting. They will develop field reporting tools for call activity, onboarding progress, IC performance, and product ordering trends, while managing master data inputs and supporting business rule definition. This role involves partnering with IT and vendors for system configuration and updates, delivering monthly and ad hoc dashboards for sales, onboarding, and field engagement, and identifying key business trends to provide actionable insights. Additionally, the analyst will support commercial leadership with field activity dashboards and targeting analytics, develop and maintain commercial KPIs and performance frameworks, and track incentive compensation effectiveness. The position also requires acting as a commercial data subject matter expert, collaborating cross-functionally with various teams to align on reporting needs, supporting business planning cycles with analytic reports, and recommending improvements to commercial analytics workflows and visualization tools.
