Willingness to work hybrid in the Seattle, WA area, in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 4 days/week
MBA or equivalent experience with 8+ years of relevant work, including in strategy, management, consulting, investment banking and/or the retail industry

Responsibilities

Build trust, rapport, and collaborative relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders to understand their deliverables, actions, and decisions
Frame hard, ambiguous problems using a rigorous, hypothesis-led, and data-informed approach
Leverage analytical acumen to uncover insights and opportunities for unlocking business value
Synthesize complex inputs into clear, compelling stories for commercial decision-making (verbal and written)
Identify and pursue sources of enterprise value creation in partnership with Strategy directors, SVP of Strategy, Executive Team, and operational leaders
Manage project teams (Assoc & Sr Assoc level talent) as an emerging leader
Demonstrate enterprise thinking by balancing function-specific goals with broader company strategy and influencing change beyond formal authority
Translate strategic direction into clear execution plans and operating rhythms, ensuring accountability and momentum
Live Nordstrom values with reliability, effectiveness, and commitment to outcomes
Lead high-impact projects supporting the Executive Team and operational leaders in areas like Enterprise Strategy, Business Development, Market & Competitive Intelligence, and Enterprise Activation
