Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with an MBA being a plus. A minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, consulting, or customer success is required, along with at least 3 years of direct management experience with customer-facing teams. Experience in a SaaS company or tech startup is essential, as is an understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models. Preferred qualifications include experience in freight management and supply chain. Strong analytical, process-oriented, communication, and presentation skills are necessary, along with the ability to manage and influence behavior through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building. An enthusiastic and creative leadership style with a desire for continuous learning is also required.
The Manager of Customer Success will lead a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to deliver a best-in-class customer experience and guide customers through their visibility journey. Key responsibilities include developing and managing the CSM team, building relationships with customer executives, serving as an escalation point for client conflict resolution, and partnering with Customer Enablement to advance CS Playbooks. The role involves providing direction, coaching, and feedback to CSMs, managing account planning, business objectives, risk mitigation, and customer expansion, and enabling growth for account executives and renewals managers. Additionally, the manager will hire, onboard, and develop team members, contribute to a culture of customer success, and collaborate with other FourKites leaders to exceed customer expectations.
