Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience, with a minimum of 7 years in growth-oriented customer success, account management, or a similar client-facing role, including at least 3 years in management. Proven experience working with government regulatory boards, state agencies, or similar entities is required, along with a track record of building, coaching, and motivating high-performing teams. Demonstrated ability to drive operational change and implement process improvements, coupled with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills for managing complex client relationships and resolving high-stakes issues, is essential. Proficiency with CRM platforms is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Director of Customer Success will lead, mentor, and coach a team of Customer Success Managers (CSMs), setting clear expectations and driving accountability. They will oversee daily operations, implement and refine processes, and directly partner with CSMs on strategic government accounts, serving as a key escalation point. This role involves defining and monitoring KPIs to optimize team performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams like External Affairs, Government Relations, Sales, and Product to drive adoption and expand market footprint. Additionally, the Director will recruit, onboard, and develop new team members, and champion company values by embodying and cultivating them within their team.
