Responsibilities

  • Installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment
  • Performing facility maintenance
  • Executing start-up and shut down procedures
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues
  • Maintaining and operating boilers
  • Performing welding and cutting tasks
  • Working on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and other systems
  • Responding to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime
  • Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments
  • Looking for opportunities to continually improve maintenance processes
  • Working cooperatively and professionally with all plant personnel
  • Strictly adhering to all safety rules, policies, procedures required by NOVO, law, and industry standards
  • Ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently
  • Performing other tasks as directed by supervision
  • Reporting to the Chief Engineer
