Excellent communication skills
Ability to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment
Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues
Skilled in diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments
Knowledge of start-up and shut down procedures, maintaining and operating boilers, welding and cutting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
Proficient in the proper use of power and hand tools
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strict adherence to safety rules, policies, procedures, and industry standards
Commitment to performing work safely and efficiently
Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with all plant personnel
Willingness to work 2nd and 3rd shifts

Responsibilities

Installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment
Performing facility maintenance
Executing start-up and shut down procedures
Troubleshooting electrical issues
Maintaining and operating boilers
Performing welding and cutting tasks
Working on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and other systems
Responding to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime
Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments
Looking for opportunities to continually improve maintenance processes
Working cooperatively and professionally with all plant personnel
Strictly adhering to all safety rules, policies, procedures required by NOVO, law, and industry standards
Ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently
Performing other tasks as directed by supervision
Reporting to the Chief Engineer
