Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; extensive maintenance and supervisory experience (10–15 years) may be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-speed manufacturing environments; experience in vinyl window manufacturing highly preferred
3–5 years of proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams in an industrial manufacturing setting
Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on understanding of extrusion and fabrication processes
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop maintenance teams, drive accountability, and deliver measurable improvements in equipment uptime and efficiency
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, quality, and corporate teams

Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate a team of skilled maintenance technicians responsible for the repair, upkeep, and installation of extrusion lines, fabrication equipment, automated machinery, utility systems, and facility infrastructure
Serve as a key member of the facility’s leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, plant performance improvement projects (PIPs), and operational decision-making
Supervise all maintenance department personnel, including staffing, training, scheduling, performance management, and career development
Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment improvements, process upgrades, and production expansion initiatives
Lead the development and execution of a proactive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend asset life
Conduct regular inspections of fabrication equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards and safety regulations
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization while maintaining quality and safety standards
Participate in capital project planning, including input on equipment selection, installation, and commissioning for new product lines or capacity expansions
Work closely with plant management, engineering, and quality teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve maintenance challenges quickly and effectively
Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the maintenance team
