Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university (or 2-year technical degree with 4+ years of applicable industry experience)
  • Knowledge and/or industry experience in Power Generation, Chemical Plants, or similar industries
  • Mechanical experience with rotating equipment found throughout the Power Generation industry or similar industries
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 80% of the time
  • Possess a passport (or be able to obtain one) and hold a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing machinery problems based on vibration data, operational data, and customer communications
  • Building relationships with customers to provide a high level of service delivery
  • Traveling to customer sites to provide supporting service
  • Writing technical reports providing conclusions and recommendations for customer equipment following each assignment
  • Defining KPIs to analyze and measure performance and propose improvements and action plans
  • Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures
  • Overseeing the preparation of invoices, technical documents, and manufacturing records for orders
