Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of a BS/BA degree and have 5 years of selling or commensurate experience. They must be able to interface with executive-level customers and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong and persuasive presentation skills. Proven ability in sales strategy formulation and market opportunity evaluation is required. Travel is required 50-75%.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager will ensure the assigned region meets or exceeds sales and profitability objectives by formulating sales strategies for markets and product lines to attain revenue goals. They will work with sales representatives to identify market opportunities and sales potential, establish and achieve annual sales objectives, and manage and coach the activities of sales representatives, clinical representatives, and other field personnel. The role involves negotiating contracts with external customers, keeping the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity, and being responsible for the management and implementation of company policies. Responsibilities also include recruiting, coaching, and developing talent, fostering a diverse workplace, creating an entrepreneurial environment, and providing direction to staff. The manager will keep the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision-making, demonstrate effective change leadership, build strategic partnerships, develop and execute organizational and operational policies, monitor compliance with company policies and procedures, and make decisions regarding work processes or operational plans to achieve department objectives. Additionally, they will develop, monitor, and adjust the annual budget for their department(s).
