Who We Are

Typeform is a refreshingly different form builder. We help over 150,000 businesses collect the data they need with forms, surveys, and quizzes that people enjoy. Designed to look striking and feel effortless to fill out, Typeform drives 500 million responses every year—and integrates with essential tools like Slack, Zapier, and Hubspot.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Strategist with a sharp focus on in-app messaging to join our team. This role exists to close a key gap in our lifecycle strategy—our ability to proactively engage users at the right moment, in the right place, while they’re actively using the product.

Email flows are up and running. But our in-app messaging? Still underused. We’re missing critical opportunities to activate, engage, and retain users in a timely, contextual way. This is your chance to change that.

Things You Will Do

  • Build and scale a robust in-app messaging strategy, identifying key moments to drive activation, adoption, and retention
  • Partner with Product, PMM, and Design to develop personalized, behavior-driven campaigns
  • Own the in-app experimentation roadmap to test formats, copy, and triggers that improve engagement and feature usage
  • Ensure alignment across email and in-app channels to deliver consistent messaging and avoid duplication
  • Analyze campaign performance, extract insights, and iterate to improve impact
  • Support broader lifecycle planning and email campaigns as needed, especially as in-app becomes more self-sufficient
  • Develop playbooks, design frameworks, and targeting logic to operationalize and scale the channel

What You Already Bring to the Table

  • Proven experience building and optimizing in-app messaging or lifecycle marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical chops—you know how to set up tests, read the data, and act on it
  • A strategic mindset, balanced with tactical execution skills
  • Familiarity with tools like Intercom, Braze, Customer.io, or similar platforms
  • Comfortable collaborating across Product, Design, and Marketing
  • Clear communicator who can influence stakeholders and keep things moving

Extra Awesome

  • Designing and deploying in-app campaigns using tools like Braze, Intercom, Customer.io, or similar
