Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Android Engineer. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java is required, as well as experience with Android Jetpack libraries and architectural patterns. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data persistence is also necessary, and experience with UI/UX design principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Android Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building foundational in-app experiences within Life360, focusing on navigation, home surfaces, contextual UI, and personalized content entry points. You will collaborate closely with the design team to shape the future experience of the app, contributing to the overall product strategy and ensuring the delivery of a fast, useful, and emotionally resonant product for millions of members. Additionally, you will lead the development of core application experiences, and contribute to the re-architecting of the information architecture to align with Life360’s strategic goals.
