About the Role

This is an opportunity to join the Colombian Legal team and play a crucial role in protecting the Company and enabling its growth. You will ensure compliance with corporate, data, and consumer protection laws, safeguard our value in commercial and vendor contracts, and partner with the business to meet legal and regulatory obligations efficiently.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead the review, negotiation, and documentation of partnership agreements and other relevant agreements with merchants.
  • Act as an effective counterparty to Addi’s merchant acquisition and success teams, providing advice on routine issues within merchant partnerships.
  • Support the team in complying with the Company’s corporate obligations.
  • Develop a solid understanding of our business model to expand or modify areas of work as required by the team and Company needs.

What We’re Looking For:

Academical Background and Experience:

  • Lawyer admitted to practice in Colombia.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience at a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Experience in a startup or financial institution is desirable.
  • Proven track record in contract drafting, negotiation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Colombian commercial law, consumer protection, and corporate governance.
