Requirements

  • 10+ years of understanding of search and discovery systems, including familiarity with ranking models, search algorithms, and semantic search
  • Experience in personalization and recommender systems, ideally using real-time data
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Passionate advocate for user, and has confirmed results in achieving superb user experience within tight constraints
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, self-motivated and directed, entrepreneurial ability to innovate quickly

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product strategy and roadmap for improving upper funnel experience on search
  • Be a strategic problem solver and able to synthesize data from multiple sources (including analytics, user research, marketing research, and design) to identify key customer unmet needs, key solutions that can address the needs and build product vision with search item tiles
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team of engineering, design, analytics, product marketing, and user research to deliver these products
  • Lead the execution of your roadmap by working with data science, engineering, and analytics teams
  • Build MVPs, iterate fast and be the champion of execution excellence
  • Conduct AB tests for launch candidates and work with analytics teams to measure the impact on success metrics
