Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, an OSHA 30 certification, and preference is given to those with a Fiber Optic Association CPCT and CFOT certification. They must be able to read, write, and understand English, with bilingual skills being a plus, and have at least 2-5 years of experience in structured cabling or a related industry/construction environment.
As a Lead Low Voltage Technician, the employee will be responsible for enhancing overall job site productivity, ensuring high-quality work, and potentially leading teams of 3-5 technicians to complete project tasks safely and efficiently. This includes following safe work practices, promoting company Core Values, installing structured cabling systems, reading and interpreting plans, performing system testing and troubleshooting, proactively training technicians, overseeing job site organization, maintaining a professional appearance, and ensuring compliance with customer security requirements.
