This role is based remotely, but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Milford, or Mountain View, you are expected to report to that location at least three times a week.
A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates need a demonstrated track record of building high-quality dev productivity tools with a focus on operational excellence, broad exposure to the end-to-end product engineering stack from frontend to infrastructure, and experience with SOA or microservice-based architectures.
The VTA team operates in a dynamic, fast-paced, and inclusive setting, focusing on building world-class testing infrastructure to accelerate autonomous vehicle development and embodying GM engineering culture and principles.
Strong candidates have a proven track record in building dev productivity tools, experience across the full product engineering stack, and the ability to define technical vision while driving software best practices in a fast-paced environment.
