Candidates should have proven experience as a general contractor, installer, field technician, or similar role, proficiency in the use of drills, ladders, forklift, screwdrivers, cable management tools, and the ability to interpret floorplans, drawings, and installation guides. They must be comfortable working in active commercial environments and on ladders/lift in ceiling spaces, and possess strong communication and documentation skills.
The Field Technician will install devices such as sensors, mounts, brackets, and low-voltage hardware in commercial office and industrial settings, reading and following detailed installation instructions, floor plans, and site documentation. They will coordinate with onsite teams, maintain accurate records of installed equipment, conduct site walkthroughs to verify installation accuracy, troubleshoot basic device connectivity or placement issues, and ensure all work is performed safely and professionally, adhering to site safety policies.
