System Engineer III

The candidate must be a US Citizen and willing and able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance at TS/SCI level, possessing a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field of study. They should have at least 8+ years of experience with space systems integration and test activities, including experience managing a small team/department with budgets, schedules, and staffing, and demonstrated experience in all phases of spacecraft mechanical and electrical integration and test activities.
As a Lead Integration and Test Systems Engineer, the candidate will review supplier AIT plans, brainstorm and explore tailored AIT campaigns, guide teams through rigorous test result reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as MIL-STD-1540 and MIL-STD-461. They will also lead a team to ensure a robust space system development AI&T through V&V program, utilizing modeling and simulation tools, and potentially working with scripting languages like STOL, Python, CCL, Cecil, or familiarity with Laser Communication Terminals and intersatellite link techniques.
