Position Overview

  • Location Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Sunnyvale CA)
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Salary: $160,000 - $185,000 (Annual Hiring Range)

Job Description: This role involves design verification activities within a dynamic engineering environment. The Design Verification Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing verification strategies, utilizing SystemVerilog, HVL, and C/C++. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in UVM and a strong understanding of the complete verification cycle.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 8+ years of experience in System Verilog, HVL, and C/C++.
  • UVM Expertise: At least 8+ years of experience in UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
  • Verification Cycle: Experience in the complete verification cycle, including:
    • Test plan development
    • BFM (Bus Functional Modeling)/Driver/Monitor/Scoreboard component development and integration
    • Stress/corner testing
    • Failure debug
    • Gate-level simulations
    • Assertions and coverage closure
  • Tool Proficiency:
    • SVTB/UVM
    • C/C++ testbench development
  • Bonus Skills:
    • DSP (Digital Signal Processing) knowledge is a plus.
    • Scripting experience (Make/Perl/Python).
    • Protocol experience (any).
  • Version Control: Subversion (SVN) and Bugzilla experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute verification strategies for complex digital designs.
  • Design and implement UVM components, including BFM, drivers, monitors, and scoreboards.
  • Create and execute test plans to thoroughly verify functionality.
  • Perform stress testing and corner case analysis to identify potential issues.
  • Debug and resolve design issues through simulation and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain assertions to ensure design correctness.
  • Achieve coverage closure goals.
  • Collaborate with design and other verification teams.
  • Provide daily/weekly progress updates to customers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
