Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on space systems and launch capabilities. Strong expertise in Full Stack Development, including technologies such as JavaScript, Python, Java, React, Node.js, and cloud platforms, is required, along with experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Demonstrated experience in space launch systems, including satellite payload integration, launch vehicle systems, and mission control systems, is also essential, as is an understanding of space industry standards and the ability to analyze space and launch vehicle operations.

Responsibilities

The System Engineer III will lead the design and architecture of complex space systems, ensuring alignment with project goals and mission requirements. They will also design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions to support space systems, manage Agile processes and tools, support the development and testing of systems that validate space launch operations, lead system integration testing and validation activities, and document system requirements and processes. Furthermore, they will collaborate with stakeholders and provide expertise in space launch systems and operations, utilizing tools such as STK or Post2.
