Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience prospecting new business accounts and selling Risk Adjustment related services or software products in a hunter sales role directly to health plans. A minimum of five years of experience selling to large healthcare clients in the healthcare Payer market is required, with preferred experience in Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and/or Medicaid. Extensive experience calling on and selling to C-suite level healthcare executives and critical business users is necessary, along with a proven track record of closing deals with large/medium health plans and direct sales into provider groups. An excellent understanding of market penetration is also required.
The Lead Director, Sales will work with company executives to promote and sell Signify's services to existing and prospective clients, generating new leads, presenting services, addressing questions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. This role involves developing experience in securing new sales and vetting approaches in the health services market for technology-related products, implementing strategic sales and retention activities, and providing regular updates to executive leadership. Responsibilities include identifying new sales approaches, creating presentations on client outcomes and value propositions, researching market conditions, strategizing to capitalize on opportunities, and developing strong relationships with clients and industry contacts. The role requires ensuring sales plans align with company goals, operating independently in prospecting and qualification, understanding the competitive landscape, servicing existing clients according to company standards, exposing clients to all product offerings, researching potential markets, and maintaining communication with internal departments. Additionally, the position involves attending industry events and staying updated on market trends.
