Position Overview:

An opportunity exists for an experienced sales professional in the Laboratory Products area of Thermo Fisher Scientific, supporting Laboratory Consumables. Our organization unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative culture, and resources to deliver the lab equipment and consumables our customers need to achieve their scientific goals – quickly, reliably, and safely. Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned territory revenue goals by purposefully pursuing sales opportunities with current and potential customers.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline and proactively build strong customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with and train channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities.
  • Seek and promote new business potential by offering Thermo Fisher Scientific's broad product portfolio.
  • Engage all appropriate colleagues to achieve maximum results for the company.
  • Participate in assigned corporate and focus account initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required (Life Sciences, STEM, or Business preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the laboratory or relevant industry.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Travel: Required travel ~75% of the time.
  • Location: Must live in the St. Louis, MO territory area.
  • Environmental Conditions: Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Laboratory Setting, Office, Various outside weather conditions.
