Supplier Manager - Cloud

Position Overview

As a Supplier Program Manager, you will build influential relationships with key decision-makers at assigned suppliers to grow sales and market share in respective technologies through various programs and marketing communications activities. You will act as a liaison between field selling groups and Corporate to resolve questions/issues regarding products and/or suppliers, including supply chain management, website development, and promotional materials. In this position, you will be expected to provide guidance to the field on large opportunities. Additionally, this role will serve as a subject-matter expert for the Arrowsphere platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision-makers, resulting in Arrow gaining a competitive advantage on sales opportunities and acting as a supplier advocate within Arrow.
  • Act as a resource for the sales team to enable navigation throughout SSG, assist in selling suppliers/technologies to customers, and position Arrow appropriately with suppliers at both the corporate and local levels.
  • Identify specific market segments and customers to market specific suppliers and technologies to the Arrow sales team with the goal of growing NSB and customer base.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales/market share with suppliers and/or technologies.
  • Conduct stakeholder management with key constituents in other departments to enable the implementation of strategies.
  • Implement ease of doing business initiatives with suppliers, including but not limited to EDI/RosettaNet transactions, shared backlog files, bar coding, and sales tools.
  • Coordinate and own supplier reviews, including necessary resources, GRPI model, presentation, and analysis.

Requirements

  • Experience in a sales, channel sales, or supplier manager position.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a technical sales role is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to solve complex problems by taking a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to utilize best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems or problems where precedent may not exist.
  • US Citizenship Required: Due to contractual requirements with the federal government, viable candidates must be US citizens.

Experience / Education

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

Work Arrangement

  • Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.
  • Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company’s request and sole discretion.

Compensation

  • Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $98,900.00 - $159,503.21
  • Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
