Requirements

Candidates must possess a Licentiate degree and a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in consumer goods and/or pharmaceutical companies as a Key Account Manager or Supervisor. A strong understanding of the local Honduran market, including traditional and unconventional trade channels, as well as over-the-counter pharmacies, is required. Additional preferred experience includes at least 3 years in multi-channel sales, encompassing both retail and pharmacy environments.

Responsibilities

The Key Account Manager will manage sales within the Nutrition business in Honduras, developing market distribution channels such as pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, supermarkets, convenience stores, and traditional stores to improve sales and earnings. Responsibilities include ensuring profitable sales growth through commercial planning, distributor personnel management, identifying market opportunities, executing promotional activities, and designing action plans for all customers. The role involves managing distributor relationships, achieving customer and team quotas, customizing commercial strategies to channel realities, developing and managing customer relationships, ensuring proper product placement and display, forging strategic partnerships, aligning commercial strategies with sales and marketing teams, and implementing appropriate pricing and portfolio strategies. Additionally, the manager will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage Gross to Net execution, propose promotions, identify business opportunities, understand customer KPIs, and analyze sales data to ensure brand growth in Honduras.
