Requirements

Candidates should possess strong verbal and written English communication skills, exemplary communication and follow-up skills, and knowledge and application of both Mac and PC hardware and software. They should also demonstrate very strong technical skills, the ability to fix and handle internal issues, and a willingness to engage with vendors for repairs.

Responsibilities

The IT Support Technician will analyze issues and formulate solutions, troubleshoot system, application, and hardware problems, ensure customers are updated on ticket progress, work directly with customers to solve problems, utilize the internal IT Knowledge Base, use external information for research, consistently update the ticket tracking system, properly escalate issues, perform routine system maintenance, track computer assets, perform backups and restores, configure hardware and software, maintain established computer standards, proactively seek additional work, build professional relationships, maintain professionalism, train backup staff, determine additional support needs, provide exceptional customer service, and provide reception or mail coverage as needed.
