ABOUT THE ROLE

Role Summary: The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the company's unclassified IT infrastructure and systems. This role ensures seamless and secure operations of all corporate technology, in compliance with organizational security requirements. The IT Manager will manage and maintain the corporate network, including connectivity and tools, and provide end-user support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and maintain the company's unclassified corporate network operations, including connectivity and tools.
  • Maintain and oversee all aspects of the company's Google Workspace environment.
  • Ensure interconnectivity across diverse environments including Google, AWS, and on-premise systems.
  • Provide end-user support for connectivity, access, and other general IT issues.
  • Oversee and manage vendor and Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationships.
  • Procure IT hardware and software in support of the company.
  • Support the technical design strategy for the corporate network and manage projects related to existing and new site connectivity and growth.
  • Develop and execute an IT strategy that incorporates both managed service providers (MSPs) and new hires that aims to provide value to the company.
  • Track support requests and trends to improve the user experience.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments and build strong partnerships across teams.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Document systems and configurations clearly.

THE SKILLSET

  • Experience: 6-8 years of experience in IT.
  • Project Management: Experience managing projects and communicating technical functions to vendors and employees.
  • Technical Capabilities: Proven technical capabilities with platforms such as Google Workspace, Cisco, VMware/Virtualization, and Windows.
  • Network Expertise: Experience with enterprise-level networks and with CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) compliance in defense is preferred. Ability to manage and maintain network devices, with an understanding of network technologies and principles.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Initiative: Demonstrates initiative, identifies areas for improvement, and has confidence in making decisions.
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Clearance: A clearance is preferred but not required.

SALARY RANGE

  • $100,000 - $150,000 USD
