Requirements

Candidates should have proven expertise managing IT systems at technology companies, ideally with 100-500 employees. Deep hands-on experience with MDM, SSO, SaaS administration, and endpoint security is required. The role also requires experience supporting hybrid or remote-first teams, proficiency in automating repetitive tasks and building scalable internal tooling, and a proven track record of balancing short-term fixes with long-term infrastructure planning. Outstanding communication, organizational skills, a customer-centric mindset, proficiency in strategy planning, stakeholder management, and demonstrated expertise in guiding IT professionals are also essential.

Responsibilities

As Director, IT, you will own roadmaps, technical execution, project delivery, and day-to-day operations for internal systems and infrastructure. You will work cross-departmentally to deliver secure, reliable, and well-integrated employee-facing technology. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated onboarding/off-boarding processes, implementing and managing tools like Okta, 1Password/Kolide, Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and Zoom. You will define clear objectives for the IT team, lead them in achieving goals, and establish efficient policies and processes to facilitate organizational productivity. Additionally, you will stay current on IT technologies and best practices, provide mentorship and guidance to IT professionals, foster a culture of innovation, and identify opportunities to elevate Splice's performance and growth.
