Candidates must possess at least one year of insurance sales experience in a fast-paced brokerage setting and experience selling with multiple carriers across multiple states, including home, auto, and umbrella insurance. A valid Property & Casualty license is required, along with a strong understanding of insurance products and processes. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills are essential, as is proficiency in CRM software. Call/Contact Center experience is also required, with brokerage experience being a plus. Bilingual ability, particularly in Spanish, is considered a bonus.
The Insurance Sales Representative will connect with potential customers via phone, email, and text to understand their insurance needs and present suitable solutions. They will effectively communicate the features and benefits of various insurance carrier products, address customer inquiries, and work with company-provided leads to maximize sales potential. The role involves consistently following up with prospects, meeting and exceeding sales targets, collaborating with underwriters and customer service representatives, and maintaining accurate customer records in the CRM system. Additionally, representatives will build custom policies for customers, educate them on home insurance, and stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
