Requirements

  • Experience in HR operations, particularly in employee lifecycle management, third-party workforce management, global mobility, and immigration
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance across North America jurisdictions, including labor laws and employment regulations
  • Ability to develop, implement, and standardize HR processes and policies
  • Strong collaboration skills with HR business partners, Procurement, Legal, business leaders, and cross-functional teams
  • Leadership experience in overseeing HR operations teams
  • Strategic thinking to provide guidance on global mobility trends, risks, and data governance

Responsibilities

  • Assist with oversight and management of employee lifecycle events (onboarding, transfers, offboarding) for Blackstone employees and third-party workforce
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and policies for employee lifecycle to ensure consistency, efficiency, and positive employee experience
  • Partner with HR business partners and stakeholders to resolve complex lifecycle events and escalations
  • Continuously evaluate and improve lifecycle processes to align with organizational goals
  • Develop frameworks for managing third-party workers, ensuring alignment with policies and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and business leaders on classification, onboarding, and offboarding of third-party workers
  • Monitor and mitigate risks in third-party workforce management, including compliance with labor laws and contractor agreements
  • Assist with oversight of global mobility and immigration processes, ensuring compliance with international laws and visa requirements
  • Develop and implement policies for employee relocations, international assignments, and visa sponsorships in coordination with Global Mobility lead
  • Manage complex global mobility cases and ensure seamless employee transitions
  • Provide strategic guidance to leadership on global mobility trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies across North American jurisdictions
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation for legal requirements, including audits and reporting
  • Monitor changes in employment laws and advise leadership on impacts
  • Drive process improvements and standardization for scalable HR operations aligned with company growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of HR operations
  • Act as trusted advisor on HR data governance and data quality
  • Assist in the leadership and development of the HR Operations team
