Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of related experience with a degree
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at multi-tasking, time prioritization with an eye for detail
Fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin communication
Proficient in reading and writing Malay to handle local government documents and ensure compliance with regulations
Strong stakeholder management with a can-do attitude
Works independently; receives minimal guidance

Responsibilities

Advises and partners with functional/departmental Managers and below on HR best practices, employee relations, talent management and development, policies, procedures and regulations, compensation and performance metrics, communication and change management initiatives, and other programs supporting business objectives
Counsels and coaches managers on performance issues and engagement; makes recommendations to resolve employee-related issues, problems and performance management concerns
Advises leaders and managers on external employment-related law and internal policy and ensures compliance
Acts as a liaison to HR Shared Services Center on situations including leaves, payroll changes, and benefits
Advises managers on- and assists with onboarding new hires, conducting exit interviews, and analyzing turnover data
Holds personal ownership for relevant key HR metrics for client area; works with managers to identify root causes and develop/execute counter-measures
Builds trustful cooperation with the work council, including obtaining approval on new hires and terminations
Provides direction and expertise to professionally execute corporate policies and HR programs ensuring appropriate quality levels
Participates in cross-functional communication and the transfer of learning and best practice sharing within the HR network
Partners with other HR areas to ensure smooth operation of ongoing HR practices
Oversees distribution of Employer Brand, Social Media (internal and external), Diversity Efforts, and overall candidate experience; brings forth ideas and best practices
Partners internally with various functions to execute innovative and cost-effective efforts supporting talent acquisition objectives and accelerating attraction/engagement of top talent
