Position Overview

Deel is seeking an experienced HR professional to serve as an in-house HR expert for Spain. This role will be responsible for managing all complex people-related matters concerning the Employee of Record (EOR) employee lifecycle at Deel. The ideal candidate will provide a high level of support to EOR employees, acting as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries, and will contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the in-house HR expert for Spain, handling all complex people-related matters within the EOR employee lifecycle.
  • Own and drive the EOR employee lifecycle, including onboarding, off-boarding, orientation, employee support, performance management, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Provide a high-level of support to EOR employees, acting as the first point of contact for any HR-related queries.
  • Provide administrative support, including the generation of reports, employment verification letters, and HRIS administration.
  • Deliver a high-touch local experience where required, and assist the product and operations teams in creating scalable systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of International HR professional experience in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
  • Qualifications and certifications in HR are considered a valuable asset.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish languages.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify, scope, and resolve complex and sensitive HR issues.
  • Data-driven approach to challenging the status quo and striving to improve response times and employee experience.
  • Experience using JIRA, Zendesk, Intercom, or other ticketing tools is a plus.
