Candidates should have at least a partial high school education and desirable experience in surveys, operational roles such as stock clerks, drivers, or cashiers, and field work. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Android operating system, are desirable. Applicants must be willing to travel, possess resilience, conflict management skills, autonomy, basic numerical abilities, adherence to norms, and results-oriented focus.
The Field Lady will be assigned a route of households at the beginning of the week. Upon arrival at each home, they will identify themselves to the homeowner and request permission to collect data. The role involves logging into a device to check in, conducting a product count within the household by scanning barcodes and verifying product information, and recording details such as purchase date, quantity, price, store of purchase, and any applicable promotions. The Field Lady will also mark scanned barcodes to prevent duplicates and request and record purchase receipts, including utility bills for special studies. The job requires ensuring data accuracy and completing all assigned tasks within the designated timeframe.
