Requirements

Candidates must possess a current Court Reporting or Notary License for their state, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience with video conferencing/database platforms and excellent working knowledge of Google Workspaces/Slack/Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.) are also required, as well as a webcam, headset, and computer for remote depositions.

Responsibilities

The Court Reporter will assist with live Prevail depositions/sessions by recording on the Prevail platform, conducting deposition reads, swearing in witnesses, marking and maintaining exhibits, monitoring and managing sessions, and providing technical and administrative assistance as needed.
