Requirements
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience building large-scale data collection systems, a deep understanding of internet infrastructure (DNS, CDN, ASN, ISP, CSP), and proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with AWS technologies, microservice design and deployment, and strong communication skills are also required. Experience working in and leading project teams, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, agile startup environment, is essential.
Responsibilities
The Lead Data Specialist will lead a team of data specialists to strategize, research, design, develop, deploy, and test automated data collection systems for the (re)insurance industry. Responsibilities include owning the data collection strategy, managing the third-party data lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering on development goals across multiple products. The role also involves maintaining existing systems, updating documentation, performing code reviews, and delivering high-quality data analysis.
