Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role. Essential skills include proficiency in Google Workspace administration, Okta administration, MacOS, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and troubleshooting web services like Slack and Asana. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with Jamf, FreshService ITSM, asset management tools, and Jira are considered a plus.
The Helpdesk Engineer will provide timely technical support to employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems, troubleshooting issues related to Google Workspace, Okta, MacOS, and MDM. Responsibilities include resolving technical problems with web services, preparing and configuring new employee workstations, maintaining detailed records in the ticketing system, and escalating complex issues as needed. The role also involves developing technical documentation, delivering user training on Google Workspace and MacOS applications, and collaborating with the IT team on system improvements.
