Bonus qualifications include working knowledge of AI governance, data licensing, generative-model IP, and proficiency in SaaS/cloud licensing, open-source, SLAs, and security terms.
The Head of Legal will own Rogo's entire legal strategy, covering product development, corporate matters, finance, and commercial strategy. This includes leading commercial and vendor contracts, creating playbooks and negotiation standards, and owning internal AI-safety and model-training policies to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements. The role also involves building a defensible patent portfolio, protecting Rogo's rights, managing corporate governance, equity financings, and employment matters, and providing legal guidance on strategic projects. Additionally, the Head of Legal will contribute to brand and thought leadership by positioning Rogo as a benchmark for secure, compliant AI in finance through industry engagement and public-facing content.
