Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading global procurement operations, managing a spend portfolio exceeding $300M across direct and indirect categories. A strong understanding of procurement maturity, digitalization, automation, and strategic sourcing is essential. Experience in establishing strategic supplier partnerships, overseeing supplier performance, and conducting contract negotiations is required. The candidate must also possess experience in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing procurement teams and ensuring procurement practices meet regulatory requirements such as ISO 13485 and FDA.

Responsibilities

The Vice President, Procurement will define and execute a comprehensive global procurement strategy aligned with the company's long-term business goals. This role involves leading and scaling the procurement function to support rapid business growth, driving enterprise-wide cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation strategies. Responsibilities include implementing best practices in category management, acting as a strategic business partner to drive procurement change programs, and collaborating across all company functions to improve the procure-to-pay process. Additionally, the VP will establish strategic supplier partnerships, oversee supplier performance management and contract negotiations, build and develop a high-performing procurement team, and ensure procurement practices meet regulatory requirements and support business continuity.
