Candidates should have 10-15+ years of field sales experience, preferably in data or cloud-related technology, with a proven ability to grow accounts from millions to tens of millions. Experience closing seven-figure, multi-year deals, creating strategic account plans, and managing executive-level relationships is essential. Strong understanding of customer requirements, transformational and consultative selling, strategy development, sophisticated negotiations, and industry expertise in the pharmaceutical sector are also required. Familiarity with sales processes, pipeline management, and CRM tools like Salesforce is preferred, along with the ability to manage remote opportunities and virtual team members.
The Global Account Executive will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for a single global prospect by developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual quotas. This role involves collaborating with marketing on account-based marketing plans, acting as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their IT roadmap and positioning Snowflake as the preferred solution, identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, conducting initial executive discussions, managing the sales process to close deals, and building strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and drive additional revenue. The position requires a value-oriented and solution-based sales approach with excellent presentation, listening, organizational, and contact management skills.
