Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 5-7 years of relevant experience in research techniques and solutions within Tech & Durables, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics, or similar fields. Specific industry experience in Consumer Technical Goods (IT, Telecomm, Consumer Electronics, Home Appliances) is strongly preferred, and CPG/FMCG backgrounds will also be considered. Media industry experience is preferred, along with a proven track record of delivering commercial targets, experience in scoping and developing proposals, negotiation strategies, effective senior-level communication, influencing, and presentation skills. Strong client focus, a drive to close deals, result-orientation, good interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and strong oral and written communication skills are essential. Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research is a plus, and willingness to travel is required.
The Global Account Director will own client relationships for long-term accounts, develop new business opportunities at existing and new clients, and align key customer priorities with NIQ's capabilities. Responsibilities include identifying and converting opportunities to deepen commercial relationships, driving additional revenue, and surpassing annual regional sales targets by implementing NIQ solutions. The role involves establishing NIQ as a trusted business partner, developing sales strategies including white spots and cross-selling, and leading contract negotiations for renewals and new business. Additionally, the Director will develop proposals and offers to NIQ standards, maintain communication with regional and local sales associates, establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, and foster C-suite level relationships to enhance upsell opportunities. The role requires demonstrating knowledge of client and market trends using NIQ data to identify growth opportunities, communicating NIQ thought leadership and innovations to clients, identifying potential problems, and proposing proactive solutions. Appropriate use of CRM/CIDB for sales forecasts and related client financials is also expected.
