Responsibilities

Allocate responsibilities and oversee operations for assigned area and lines whilst monitoring productivity rates against established targets
Oversight of materials management and review the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for materials management and cleaning activities
Propose and implement improvements to production workflows, equipment and systems to achieve production targets in a timely manner
Plan and manage production activities to drive operational efficiency and excellence, possessing underlying technical knowledge of equipment and systems
Comply strictly with highly regulated standards
Lead and drive collaborative efforts to deliver quality and compliance performance for shift
Initiate, manage and make decisions which impact product quality
Model and promote behaviors that ensure delivery of high quality products while championing compliance with Abbott policies and procedures, meeting all local and statutory requirements
Accountable for shopfloor incident investigation and reporting for assigned area, with timely escalation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
Track, trend and continuously improve performance for overtime, OEE, production (unit/hour, pound/hour), MUV, Scrap and CIP for assigned areas
Promote and drive continuous improvement programs using Operational Excellence tools and methodologies for root cause analysis and resolution of issues
Drive OEE performance, understand the drivers, and develop and execute plans around improvement of line performance and quality metrics with support from direct manager
Actively plan and organize the day-to-day manufacturing operations and schedules
Anticipate and drive proper alignment and prioritization between manufacturing and support teams
Coach and direct individuals and the team to meet performance goals and objectives
Lead efforts required to deliver the EHS performance for the shift/line of accountability
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
