Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task
- Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage standards and Pizza Hut brand standards (where applicable)
- Execute Food & Beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing and storing reserve product
- Produce, package and label items to specifications on production cards and follow specific department routines to drive sales, instocks and profitability
- Maintain a neat, clean and inviting dining area for guests throughout shift (as applicable)
- Make changes to salesfloor merchandise displays
- Always be aware of current promotions in Café and Pizza Hut (where applicable)
- Complete and record all cleaning tasks in the food service space as outlined in best practices
- Follow proper perishable inventory procedures to ensure an accurate recording of inventory
- Follow all food safety requirements including monitoring and recording temperature sensitive food items as outlined in best practice
- Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
- Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
- Complete Pizza Hut training requirements and certifications related to quality control of Pizza Hut products
- Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties, such as compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
- When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs
- Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
- All other duties based on business needs
